Doesn't seem to make any difference at all.  It may be the case that the
Xfer speeds are set to the slowest device while talking to the slowest,
but I can't confirm that. The burner certainly runs at 4x while writing
to RW media.  I haven't tried mucking about with the zip at the same
time.  Sorry, no data points other than "Works for me".
