[Cooker] MS Intellimouse is Drunk!

Specs:  Athlon 700mhz
        Abit KA7 MOBO
        512 MB Micron RAM
        Matrox G400 Video
        SB Live
        MS Intellimouse

Sometimes when I move my mouse it takes off to the upp-right-hand corner of 
the screen. Any ideas?

I have tried hooking it up with ps/2 and usb port.  Using mousedrake, I have 
tried the different Intellimouse modules ...and the generic one as well.
