Hi,
after I got the latest complete mirror from
http://ftp.sunet.se/pub/Linux/distributions/mandrake-devel/cooker/
I tryed to install this new stuff (complete new install / expert /
developer).
All works fine during install until I should get the package-selection
list, then I got following error:
an error occurred
nothing found while parsing /mnt/var/lib/urpmi/hdlist.hd1.cz2
after this errors like: no basepackage selected ?
-> I tryed this several times after I resynced the mirror, always the
same.
I checked the latest mdkinst_stage2.gz but it seems it is not uptodate
since June/ 16
I tryed to rebuild the mdkinst_stage2.gz -> without errors
But during boot and load of the second stage -> it terminates with
permission problems
I don't know if I have the right owner/perms in the Mandrake/mdkinst ->
it would be nice if this directory comes also as a tar-archiv
or at least we can see the contents in a ls-lR.txt.
Please check the and rebuild the mdkinst_stage2.gz, I think a lot of
people will do
a new installation after the last major updates to cooker (KDE2, BM,
...).
