I'm not sure where trends are at but I was in need of it for cscmail 1.6.1 (now known as pronto-1.2.3) a genuinly excellent mail client based on perl-GTK that has HTML rendering based on perl-GTK-HTML.
I tried to mess around with the Gtk-perl tarball as well as perl-GTK mdk src and recompile it. Since perl-GTK mdk src generates all the packages perl-GTK-XmHTML etc..., I looked at the tarball that actually contains perl-GTK-HTML. But the spec file omits it.
I then found out the reason for this omission: perl-GTK-HTML does not compile (at least not on my box)
Meanwhile I have a few packages that I creates a spec file for and that were sucessfully made it anyone is interested:
perl-MIME-Types-0.02-1mdk.i586.rpm
GConf-0.5-1mdk.i586.rpm
And a few other that are required for the proper operation of pronto. The only thing I'm missing and I couldn't find a way around it: perl-GTK-HTML.
Any suggestion??? Will you be working on it or should I persue?
Cheers,
Patrick.

currently replacing XmHtml by GtkHtml until you tell me what you prefer :)
