[Cooker] Speaking of the Aureal drivers.

Prior to re-installing a fresh copy of the mirror, the Aureal drivers 
compiled and installed perfectly.  They worked very well.  Now, after 
installing from a fresh mirror, the installation hangs while building the 
driver.  Not sure what is going on.  This is the make line (which is also 
the first line) that it hangs on:
        cc -D__KERNEL_ -DMODULE -DAU8830 -O -Wall -pipe -m486 
-I/usr/src/linux/include -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -c -o vertex.o vortex.c

Any suggestions?
