I'm sure that is true, but the cooker packages only have the ability
to REPLACE KDE1 entirely.  It is far too early to risk that, and so I
for one do not.   Those cooker packages are therefore of no use
unless you run a special KDE2 Linux partition and reboot back and
forth constantly - not for me, I am afraid.

The http://us.mandrakesoft.com/~molnarc/index.html 20000721 packages
permit running a choice of KDE1 or KDE2 at login time - but using
these packages totally screws up the K menu systems for both KDE1 and
KDE2.  Chris Molnar also promised me that these packages would
include the kde2and1scripts-0.0.1-1mdk.i586.rpm RPM to enable the
choice, but it never happened.
