Helix-code, had a similar system in their helix-update, we could type the
root password and perform the install, and then it seems they removed it.

heh yup, sadly I don't know any languages well enough to do this. Was just a

possible project to take up by someone else. 

Unless I can code it in bash or a very weak perl script : p
