konqueror works well for everyone now.... I need to know more about your problem
if you want some help.

Support for it was half-added, then removed. That's why.
It will be for after 2.0 AFAIK.
We want to get a stable 2.0 out, and work on the unfinished stuff after.
Otherwise KDE 2 will never be there :)
