I haven't tested MandrakeUpdate yet because i am still learning, can't get
kppp to work, i have tried to use the tutorial on mandrakeuser.org, doing it
by hand, it worked yesterday, today it just dosen't work, can you give me a
hand :)
Aug  9 13:10:53 localhost pppd[1215]: pppd 2.3.11 started by root, uid 0
Aug  9 13:10:53 localhost pppd[1215]: Using interface ppp0
Aug  9 13:10:53 localhost pppd[1215]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyS1
Aug 9 13:11:00 localhost pppd[1215]: Peer is not authorized to use remote
address 212.18.160.30
Aug  9 13:11:00 localhost pppd[1215]: Connection terminated.
Aug  9 13:11:00 localhost pppd[1215]: Connect time 0.2 minutes.
Aug  9 13:11:00 localhost pppd[1215]: Sent 360 bytes, received 408 bytes.
Aug  9 13:11:00 localhost pppd[1215]: Exit.

But still what i was thinking you mandrake update utility would actually
help guys like, by helping them to choose.

Like:
        stable/non stable.
        tested with 6.0/7.0/7.1
        etc...

This way you would avoy man problems, making us reinstall all over again ;)
