1. When xfs starts i always get a couple of lines in the log file like so:-
Aug 11 05:45:03 gamut Font Server[539]: Warning: The directory "�a8^H\���@
^E^H�^E^H�a8^H^D����~^E^H�Y8^H" does not exist.
Aug 11 05:45:03 gamut Font Server[539]: Entry deleted from font path.
Aug 11 05:45:03 gamut Font Server[539]: Warning: The directory "HK7^H\���@
^E^H�^E^HHK7^H^D����~^E^H�Y8^H" does not exist.
Aug 11 05:45:03 gamut Font Server[539]: Entry deleted from font path.
The weird directory names are never the same.
2. I have a TNT2 video card, but xscreensaver-gl requires that I have a glide
library installed. This was not the case for the version of xscreensaver-gl
supplied by helixcode.
3. Is this a typo in the dependancy?
# rpm -Uvh gtk+licq-0.39-1mdk.i586.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
gtk+licq-base = 0.39 is needed by gtk+licq-0.39-1mdk
