Well, I ain't gonna let old stuff get into the shiny new Mandrake. :-)

WWSympa is of course the new stuff, I expected to get angry flames and letters.
However, sympa is old stuff, I never changed the compilation procedure of
Sympa. I doubt that this time it would be the nasty $RPM_BUILD_ROOT problem
again though.

This is a good start..!!

Yes I know. I have noticed this. The problem is that you have root.root perms
for sympa.conf and wwsympa.conf in /etc. Now, if you chmod 600, then of course
sympa will not be able to access it. I can always do chown sympa.sympa and hten
chmod 600, but I don't know if that is very smart or not.
This is a security related issue which I would like to get solved ASAP.

Setting up sympa on your own box if you compile from source is not hard,
packaging is a very different thing. :-)

When everything is working you can send another cooker mail to complain
about the lack of MHonArc! One step at a time... sympa is not even working
yet ..
Now that sympa is still not working, can you please try again and test
(and anyone who use sympa on cooker, please do me a favor and test it) ...
How about the logs ? Do they say anything useful?
It's hard for me to test sympa here, since I don't have the know-how and I
don't run a ML myself.
