I installed latest KDE 1.93 Beta4 (build 819mdk), and have following problem:
I can't start KDE2 session.
Normal start-up screen (where you select user name/password/session type)
doesn't pop-up, and instead I have X-windows style popup screen, where in
session listed "KDE:GNOME:Window Maker:...." as the only one option. So, I
can't select either KDE, or GNome, or something different.
When I press on "Go" button, Ice WM starts!

Taking into consideration that Beta4 installs over KDE1 (I had to un-install
both KDE2 Beta 3/build 720 and KDE1.1), I believe that problem is with
configuration files. KDE2 Beta3 was running normally.
I don't have any KDE2 programs in IceWM menues, but if I start Xterm and type
@konqueror@, konqueror starts without problems. Kword and KSpread do not
start, as claim "can't find mime type"

As it's possible to change WM from IceWM to another, I tried change to KDE.
KDE startup screen gives following error:
"Could not read network connection list.
Please check that the "DCOPserver" program is running"

Can somebody advise what's wrong?

Another problem I had during setup:
Dependency: required
  -mandrake_desk >= 1.0.4-8mdk
  /usr/sbin/install-menu
Beta3 was not asking for those files. What they are and where can be found?

Many thanks in advance!
