Has anyone had problems with OSS support in latest
alsa-0.5.9b+linux-2.4.0-test*+ DevFs? Long time ago the snd-*-oss
modules loaded automatically. Now I need to call them (insmod, modprobe)
after loading native alsa. /etc/init.d/sound can't load mixer settings
because it uses aumix to set it up. The script only manages to load
native alsa.
Please don't answer "rtfm" (that's for you Thierry). I checked
everything I could and specially all TFMs on Alsa. It seems that there
is a problem with DevFS that does not allow Alsa to call sequently oss
support. But I'm not sure about it.
