Well for output and daily usage I recommand Alsa (its going to main stream
kernel some day anyway.). The OSS package driver might be somewhat more
current, if its quite fresh from the CSV archive from opensource.creative.com.
If you have a digital add-on with digital input (Live Premium or the
Hoontech Add-On for SB-Live), you currently need a patched version of the
OSS driver which was not integrated into CVS by beginning of this month
(Check out CVS-Driver, compile and look if the mixer has three digital
channels!). A patched version is on
