Synched on sunsite uio.no 20000829 20:00 CEST

I try on old S3Trio64V+ 64MB P120 machine for graphic expert upgrade (PC was 
up and running with yesterday new install : kernel 2.2.17-0.23); 
Strange during install for the first time it don't recognize my old 2button 
MSmouse, I try three time and then go head with kb....(rebooted on installed 
linux mouse works ok ...;o)
On console f4:

<6>Detected PS/2 Mouse Port.            (I haven't)

On console f1 (remember on that machine I've an old serial2buttonMSmouse 
2.0A) :

During a retry changing mouse with a serial MSIntellimouse I see also:
