Hi!
Yesterday I built and installed the -3md version of kudzu and now
it crashes all the time :-(
I used gdb to find the errorneous line:
gdb ./kudzu
GNU gdb 5.0

This GDB was configured as "i586-mandrake-linux"...
(gdb) r
Starting program: /usr/src/RPM/BUILD/kudzu-0.68/./kudzu
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x804dc8a in readDevice (file=0x0) at kudzu.c:192
192 (*rindex(linebuf,'\n'))='\0';
(gdb) c
Continuing.
Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
The program no longer exists.
(gdb) q
Seems to be a pointer problem. Somehow the check above for
file equal to zero fails :-/. According to the code this
line should never be reached under this condition.
Best regards,
Reinhard Katzmann
