There was a cheapbytes dealer in Russia. I don't know if he still exists
but twice I bought disks through him. Unfortunately I lost the URL.
Besides there are these bookselling sites like http://www.bolero.ru or
http://www.books.ru. They also sell Linux distributions, truly at
official prices. They have a large delivery system over several Russian
cities. Recently I bought russian StarOffice adapted by IPLabs
(http://www.iplabs.ru) in agreement with Sun Microsystems. I made the
request thorugh Bolero's site. In 6 days (they promised 9-10 days for
delivery) a special courier gave it to me personally in Kazan. The cost
of the disk was 72 roubles + 6 roubles delivery. Payment on the moment
of delivery.

Yes there are problem to buy or request any stuff from overseas. I lost
several CD's while they travelled here. But, with Linux, I believe that
such problems don't exist anymore, at least on the european part of
Russia, where russian Internet shops have developed a relatively stable
system of delivery. Note that some shops even charge cheaper for their
own special couriers than our ill-famed post-offices.
