You must be joking - Cooker is far from any state of being frozen.
For example, yesterday's rsync update from the aarnet mirror updated
647 of the cooker files. And, worse, the installer will not even
work in the most basic installs, a situation which should have
prevented that latest installer ever getting out onto the mirrors.
Where is QA in all of this mess?
Only when the cooker update activity settles down to 0 for 7 days can
we infer a freeze in which MandrakeSoft has confidence and only then
can any beta testing be commenced.
Recall also that we were promised a 7.2 beta tree separate from
cooker, so that cooker could continue its work on Alpha and Sparc.
Where is it?
