I sync'ed cooker from rpmfind yesterday, September 7 and went for a really
small install of just basic packages and KDE. All the KDE packages crapped
out during installation. I booted into linux and tried to install KDE by
hand but kept getting dependency errors for ld-linux.so.2 even though it was
in /lib. I tried to rewrite from .../mdkinst/lib but of course it complained
that the file was busy. I then got really dumb and decided to rename it too
ld-linux.so.2old. Word of wisdom to any other newbies. Don't ever ever ever
do this. I learn everything the hard way I re-installed but still keep
getting errors with ld-linux.so.2. Am I the only one experiencing this
problem and how do I solve this?
