Hi Cookers! I just resubscribed to the list as my old Pop-Account seems to be broken (he accepts Mail but I never can download them..) Anyway on the mail archive I saw a thread about kernel panic with 2.2.15/16 and >64M RAM. I had the same problems as I switched my mainboard from Asus P5A to DFI. The archive has the last two mail, but the first one seems to be missing. Can anyone resend it to me ? (Hardware comparison :-) On linhardware.com I found something about the DFI board. Someone had problems with it and said it was due to the fact that some memory dimms seem to be bad, so they do not work together with this board. I did not have the possibility to check that out, so maybe thats a reason for memory problems (at least thats what I thought). The german computer magazine ct (www.heise.de) also has a report about bad dimms which I did not read up to now. Best regards, Reinhard Katzmann
