I agree that users should get software that works, but look around many
magazines give beta software away.
The main problem is the magazines of choice, PCExpert is more windoze
magazine, then a PC magazine.
I am talking about linux magazines, the with technical stuff.

I think you are forgetting that this magazines ("LINUX ACTUAL" a Portuguese
one) are actually read by people who no what BETA IS.

I speak for myself, I still free very frustrated I purchased 7.0 Mandrake
package early this year, and a paid for it and I am glade for. Then I was
about buy the 7.1 package, and not being a major update I went for the Cheap
Bytes version, this version is a really good package to anyone, but it
wasn't properly tested.
