Jean-Michel,

True, thanks!!
But it ain't building yet on my alpha... But I'm not sure if it's
related to apache, it could be a more general perl related problem,
since more perl packages are showing symptoms (all of the packages
listed in http://d10179.dtk.chello.nl/build/cooker/alpha/perl5_man/ have
this problem).
The buildoutput of the apache package on alpha is at:
http://d10179.dtk.chello.nl/build/cooker/alpha/perl5_man/apache-1.3.12-27mdk.src.rpm.txt
In this buildouput you'll find:
Warning: You do not have permissions to install into
/usr///lib/perl5/man/man3 at /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/ExtUtils/Install.pm
line 62.
This seems to come out of the Makefile (in the mod_perl-1.24)
INSTALLMAN3DIR = /usr///lib/perl5/man/man3
When I do the build on my intel box this line is shown as:
INSTALLMAN3DIR = $(PREFIX)/lib/perl5/man/man3
Which is correct. Now, WTF does this go wrong on the alpha...
As i said above, I don't think this "issue" is related to this (apache)
package. It's a general problem, which is now only showing on the alpha
but not on x86.

Oops... a long read...
