Hi A few weeks ago I was reading on http://forum.mandrakesoft.com/ that it was safe to run urpme qt (I think that was the correct command... anyway..). I did that since I never use qt and dont run KDE (I use GNOME), however some of the system tools (DrakConf and Mandrake Update). Well this is not a problem, I just reinstalled qt and the system tools, but there was a dependency I found a little strange and that is ksu! The systemtools need ksu which is part of KDE?!?. I don't have anything against KDE, but since I use GNOME it feels like a waist of space to have the KDE libs installed just for ksu. It's not a big program so it cant be hard to remove that dependency... I think it's ok to depend on different toolkits, but to depend on desktops is not good... Ok, it's not a big thing but just had to complaint about something ;) //Snaggen -- ____________________________________________________________________________ Mattias Eriksson E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tvistevgen 26 [EMAIL PROTECTED] 907 36 UMEA Tel: 090-198800 SWEDEN 070-5636769 'I don't fight for a cause Hemsida: http://www.acc.umu.se/~snaggen I fight for the fight' PGP: http://www.acc.umu.se/~snaggen/snaggen.asc ____________________________________________________________________________
