Hello, I have posted a message about the installation of 7.2 beta ( and cooker updated
12h ago )!
The problem seems to be the USB:
after some test I have disabled it using MB bios setup and the process goes on.

I have done just one attempt using Cooker and not 7.2beta but the very large update
give me the same problem like previous Cooker (mirrored saturday!!! ) :

( USB disabled from bios, I want update my system based on plain, clean and NEW
installation of cooker 28/08/2000 that worked fine.. but not with printer and ISDN )

1) "Rescue" ( mean update? )
2) "Developer"
......
the installation software is not able to find the list of packages. Just reports to me
that I have not selected "basesystem"....

Ok. 2nd try!!
Same as above but I have selected "manual selection".... and like all Cooker after
28/08/2000 the list is empty :-)
I have selected the full list and "auto deps", now the window is populated by 1xxx,
unselected, packages,
but I'm does not have the time for this job :-)))
Just a reboot :-))) At the prompt I have started my ISDN conection and fmirror... and
( not ) surprise :-)))
A brand new XFREE, new KDE2, new Gnome, new stage2.... 180 Mb!!!
At 128 k this mean that I need about 4 hours, and I'm sure that KDE2-1.94.mdk1 is
going to mdk2 in the next few minutes :(

Many thanks, and excuse me for this bad english.
Please, don't flame me. This words is only my opinion.

Alessandro
