Maintaining pckages from a common src rpm of course will cause complex
dependency issues that need to be solved.
I think, what I will do is this.
For the RH RPMs on the gtk+licq page, I will make 2 src rpm, one
with gnome support and one without.
As for Mandrake ...
I am open to suggestions. What are the differences (feature-wise) of the
gnome / gtk plugin?

Well it would mean complex dependencies :-/
Of course as a volunteer job I also maintain the RH rpm on the gtk+licq page
so of course I would like to keep the RH/Mdk relatively in sync as possible.
