I didn't know that ;-).

Is it possible to update the qt-1.44 package, leave the ifarch around
the compiler flags and the i18n stuff, and remove it around the qgl
stuff (qgl now compiles).

hmmm... doesn't sound nice...

another way to crash an alpha: compile & install mandrake's XF 4
packages,
start the X-server... (we need to work on this)...
