Some problems with Kde2:
1. Script /usr/sbin/chksession points to
windowmanagers file in /ets/X11 folder.
There is no windowmanagers file anymore. I have
noticed that windowmanagers
file is replaced by files in /etc/X11/wmsession
folder. There is only one file in this
folder: 01KDE. That gives login problems if you use
gdm or kdm, because they
show only KDE, failsafe and default. When I add,
for example,
new file 02Gnome (with exec /user/bin/gnome-session
in it) the problem is solved,
and I can login to Gnome.
Shuold it be like this that we have to add files
for each window-manager in
/etc/X11/wmsession folder ?
2. Shortcuts doesn't work. If I, fo example, want
to add new directory to my desktop
I get message: The templates file
/usr/share/template/.source/emptydir doesn't exist.
I have to manualy change all template files to fix
it. Is it a bug, or I am doing something
wrong?
