With some of the recent updates (and I'm not sure which one), some terminal
types broke. For example vt420 is no longer valid:
[ewilts@linux1 Mail]$ export TERM=vt420
[ewilts@linux1 Mail]$ clear
'vt420': unknown terminal type.
[ewilts@linux1 Mail]$ rpm -qa | grep termcap
libtermcap-devel-2.0.8-19mdk
termcap-11.0.1-3mdk
libtermcap-2.0.8-19mdk
Dropping the terminal type to vt320 does work. There is an entry for vt420
in my termcap, and from what I can tell by comparing it with an old version,
it appears correct, so the problem may be in the libraries.
