[Cooker] Mouse problem

I have a problem during the installation of LM 7.2 beta.
After choosing my mouse in expert mode (it's an IntelliMouse PS/2), the mouse
hangs.
I have already posted this here some time ago. It works if you scoll your wheel.
So that's OK.

But what if a user doesn't know this?
What about:
- Fixing the problem (so that scrolling isn't required anymore)
- Giving an alert that the mouse could hang and what to do
- Not changing the mouse-protocol until the end of the installation
