Similar to me though I don't know if installing egcs is worse than
windows when I think on my windows nightmares with my new board ;-)
Anyway there is a simple solution for your problem: Simple create
a egcs-version shell script which contains the linee
"gcc -V 2.95.3" (strange that the version number is 3 though the
rpm says it was 2).
