This is my first time posting here.:)
Ok.. Harddrake seems quite screwed up. It detects my mouse as unknown. I
told it that my mouse was a microsoft intellimouse mouse, howerver the
configuration never got saved. HD also detected my isa pnp sb16 card as sb32
awe. I tried to change that but it wouldn't work. So i used sndconfig.My
voodoo2 was detected as a voodoo banshee. Also my 3com us robotics 56k pnp
internal modem was detected as a sporters faq or something. Tried to change
that but didn't work. I usually have to comment my modem out in the
isapnp.conf before it starts to work...
I don't know exactly how to change this stuff from Harddrake. Whenever i do
try to change it nothing happens. Its like the changes never get saved.
None of my kde apps seem to recognize my printer(its not in the printer list
when open the print dialog.) Abiword and netscape print perfectly. Btw
qt-cups is really cool, handy utility.
Kpackage crashes all the time. The new Rpm drake has a very wiered
interface. I still can't figure out how to use it.
During installation, my mouse all of a sudden dissapeared.
When you go to bootdrake and configure stuff it replaces grub with lilo.
Also konqueror at first use to display readme files... when you clicked on
them. Now it just opens up a blank screen.
Btw my hp812C works better with the hp880C drivers than with 810C drivers.
