What a wonderful hack...  and to make sure it really helps, lets _not_ post the
Welcome message at login and see how many users we can force to waste time with
this dumb-bass scheme...  
</sarcasm>

Going directly to the target directory with an automated ftp further hinders the
odds of seeing a non-posted welcome message.
