Hi! I've some problems configuring X. The Mandrake installer assumes that my card runs with XFree86 4.0.1 - at least it always uses 4.0.1, even when telling it to use 3.3.6 in expert mode, after running XFdrake, I'm at 4.0.1 again. My card also isn't supported by XFree86 3.3.6 but there exists a patched version which runns fine. So please let us choose if we want to use 3.3.6 or 4.0.1. This seems impossible when using custom installation. BTW: Ths card is detected as: S3 Inc.|86C270-294 Savage/MX-/IX (DISPLAY_VGA Card:S3 Savage (generic)) This card (used in IBM Thinkpad T20s) is said to be supported by XFree86 3.3.6 but it isn't.
