[Cooker] question about ssh

I just setup a new server and i'm having problems getting sshd to run
correctly.  I edited /etc/ssh/sshd_config to match the settings I want.  Now
when I connect from my windows PC using secureCRT, I get an error about IP
did not send ident.  Why is sshd requiring an ident, and how do I turn that
off.
