I experienced following strange problem after kdebase-1.94-21mdk install
Dependencies problem:
-htdig >=3.1.5
-libXm.so.1
-libkmid.so.0
Applied --nodeps (build 0911 was not requiring these libraries, something
new? And what they are?)

When I rebooted and selected Root and session KDE, it answered "Login failed"
I tried Root/GNOME - same result.
KDE/myname, GNOME/myname, any other WM - same result, "Login failed"
Everything was ok in the morning, until I updated kdesupport, kdelibs and
kdebase to latest one.
Then , I try Shutdown/console.
OOPS.
Login - no problem.
After startx, Enlightenment starts. Konqueror, KMail start normally under
Enlightenment.

Login under my name.
run startX. KDE2 starts, with all programs functioning (except screensavers
:-) )
So, KDE2 is installed correctly and working. Login session doesn't work. And,
for some reason, KDE2 doesn't start automatically under Root.
I upgraded to latest xinitrc and menu.
Previous successfully running KDE2 - 0911mdk.

What solution can be applied?
