rsynched on sunsite.uio.no 19:40 CEST VERSION : Linux-Mandrake Cooker-i586 20000929 19:18 On my laptop (may be you have my old emails, but I summarize) I've two cooker install: hdb1 as /boot , hdb6 as / and hdb7 as /boot , hdb9 as / and hdb10 as mirror of cooker partition Now I want upgrade hdb7-hdb9 but installer don't ask me nothing and I found with 'mount' : [...] /dev/hdb6 /mnt ;o/ /dev/hdb1 /mnt/boot ;o/ /dev/hdb10 /mnt/mnt/hd /dev/hdb7 /mnt/mnt/hdb7 ;o/ /dev/hdb9 /mnt/mnt/hdb9 ;o/ Bad thing is that installer again don't let me choose which root partition I want upgrade between hdb6 and hdb9 ...;o) Another note, when I try 'bug' command from shell console I've : Undefined subroutine &detect_devices::floppies called at /usr/bin/perl-install/commands.pm line 564. cu... good work...;o) -- - Franco Silvestro c/o CeSIA - Universita' degli Studi di Bologna
