Hi team,
I searched my cooker mesages for answers on getting my 7.2.3 beta to use the
internet sharing script and eventually found Guillaume's message. I have tried to get
my home network to go but it won't. I have a dialup connection, my peer to peer
network runs fine on win98 but I cannot get my linux setup to work. I have 3
computers addressed 192.168.1.1 and 2 and 4. I have written 192.168.1.1 into the tcp
windows set up as the server for them. I have host files and lmhosts on all.
192.168.1.1 is the gateway on my linux box and my network card is running on my
linux box. After trying to get drakegateway to work for me I tried to get webmin up.
No go. So I thought I would get swat running to at least set up samba, no go too.
Something obvious is wrong but I don't know what. BTW
http://us.mandrakesoft.com/~gc/html/drakgw.html isn't there.
looking forward to your help.
thanks,
Mike
