kernel 2.2.17-11mdk mailorder version.
I will be upgrading that one.
Install on my ancient test-bed a p120
with basic Linux friendly hardware. Of course it
took about an hour and a half!
Making too many changes with installation GUI
gave a perl error and it locked up?
a reset was needed.
Never was prompted for the 2cd CD ? Maybe the mailorder fault?
I couldn't see anything for sound configuration?
I have yet to debug much more and Yes I realize everything
probably had been updated but thought I'd ask ! :)
A caution to those with older machines might be in order
re: gnome and kde they take as long or longer than M$
to load up on this machine. Will be installing later on
test machine number 2 which has more horsepower. If I can
tweak out some of these quirks.
Some nice features on install! Just thought I would share
my blunderings incase aanything was not already attended to.
Oh yes, I do hope David's xfce.mdk.rpm makes it into the
final release !:)
