Two light problem i found with msec :
- After running msec in customized mode, and choosing restricted for
umask, /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts/deny have seen their perm changed
to 640 root adm. So esd and portmapper were unable to access these
files.
Oct 4 10:57:06 agathe esd: warning: cannot open /etc/hosts.deny:
Permission non accorde
- Wether i didn't caught something, or it is msec ?
Oct 5 04:01:30 agathe : Security Warning: Some NFS filesystem are
exported globally :
Oct 5 04:01:30 agathe : - Nfs File system
satan(ro,all_squash,anonuid=502,anongid=506) globally exported,
read-write.
And here is the /etc/exports corresponding line :
/home/guest/pub dworkin(ro,all_squash,anonuid=502,anongid=506) \
poseidon(ro,all_squash,anonuid=502,anongid=506) \
dmi(ro,all_squash,anonuid=502,anongid=506) \
phantom(ro,all_squash,anonuid=502,anongid=506) \
vision(ro,all_squash,anonuid=502,anongid=506) \
amazigh(ro,all_squash,anonuid=502,anongid=506) \
bidi(ro,all_squash,anonuid=502,anongid=506) \
satan(ro,all_squash,anonuid=502,anongid=506)
Satan is the only one to have a real IP address, whereas other are
private-IP address.
