Becouse it recover only from stanby, else if it goes in suspend or off .....switch off is needed....;o/ -hd led sometime blink but LCD stay off.... play with keyboard and mouse for ten minutes don't wake up LCD (also CTRL ALT BKSPACE to try resetting X).....;o/ Is a Dell Inspiron 7500 15.4"LCD ATIMobilityP.... with 20001003 20:44 version cooker fresh install....
