Really ? Just guess what they're doing at the LEP experiment in CERN ?
An electron can die, killed by a positron, disapearing in a bunch of
energy (gamma).
BTW, you'll never be able to prove they cannot die. The current limit of
the life time of an electron is 4.3 10^23 years (in my particle booklet
from 96, don't have the 2000 under the hand).
