Hi!
For the gimp-python plugin I needed to upgrade to the new
gimp-1.1.27 Version (no problems adapting the rpm spec).
But I was quite surprised as I tried to install the new
version:
rpm -Uhv RPMS/i586/gimp-*
Fehler: fehlgeschlagene Paket-Abh�ngigkeiten:
libgimp-1.1.so.25 wird von gimp-1.1.27-1mdk gebraucht
libgimpui-1.1.so.25 wird von gimp-1.1.27-1mdk gebraucht
libgimp-1.1.so.25 wird von gimp-python-0.6-1mdk gebraucht
libgimp-1.1.so.25 wird von gimp-print-4.0b1-1mdk gebraucht
libgimpui-1.1.so.25 wird von gimp-print-4.0b1-1mdk gebraucht
So you see, to install the new gimp, you need the old gimp version.
This bug comes from the inclusion of gimp-print which uses the old
gimp library instead of the new one. Please make either a proper
inclusion of print into the plug-ins directory or completely leave
it outside. I am now forced to remove gimp-print from the gimp
archive.
