Mandrake's primary mirror site sunet.uio.no appears to have been down
(no ping response) for a time now approaching 24 hours.
This is most unusual.
If it persists, I will consider developing and publishing an
se_rsync.pl and/or an rpmfind_rsync.pl script on my web page as
alternatives to the no_rsync.pl presently available there.
While the no_rsync.pl perl script permits easy change of server by
editing a line at the top of the file, a different script is needed
because of the different directory structures below the
Mandrake-devel rsync library on the various mirrors.

I have no plans to add the ability to download the two CD image *.iso
files unless Mandrake makes them part of Mandrake-devel rsync library
and not the Mandrake rsync library where they presently are.
