I installed RC1 Odyssey tonight after verifying the ISO checksums and
burning a couple of CDs. I booted from CD-ROM and things went relatively
smoothly except for these warnings that I told it to ignore. I did a Expert
Development install and with some individual package selections with
autodependencies turned on. Here were the warnings I got:

>From CD1:

  bad package openssh-2.2.0pl-6mdk
  bad package ImageMagick-5.2.3-3mdk
  bad pacakge libgtop-1.0.9-5mdk
  bad package htdig-3.1.5-6mdk

>From CD2:

 bad package SQL-devel-1.1.4-7mdk
 bad package perl-XML-Parser-2.29-2mdk
 bad package MySQL-client-3-23.23-1mdk
 bad package Swig-1.3a3-1mdk

After reboot, I was able to install of of these from the CD's with no
apparent problems using kpackage.

What that means, I'm not sure. Maybe my CD-RW's disks are flakey but not
too flakey?
