It would be nice to see Kaptain http://www.hszk.bme.hu/~tz124/kaptain/
in Mandrake. It's very cool - a KDE GUI interface to text configuration
files or programs. It can run Perl scripts or whatever. With it,
hopefully Linux can be as easy to configure as Windows
- one of the main reasons for Windows success as, for example, a web
server is that you can just click on buttons and play with menus to do
things that with Apache would require a knowledge of httpd.conf.
Ideally it would be nice to see a Windows-style 'Control Panel' - with
consistent configuration tools (rather than a hundred different
programs).
Also, because it is KDE rather than Mandrake-specific, it is much
easier to get grammars because there will be many more people to write
them than there are for (e.g.) wizdrake.
PS. What happened to man sex?
On my old Mandrake I could type man sex and get a page from the
'Eunuch's programmers manual'. But it doesn't seem to be in 7.2.
Can we no longer have sex with Mandrake?

Q: How many lawyers does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Whereas the party of the first part, also known as "Lawyer", and the
party of the second part, also known as "Light Bulb", do hereby and forthwith
agree to a transaction wherein the party of the second part shall be removed
from the current position as a result of failure to perform previously agreed
upon duties, i.e., the lighting, elucidation, and otherwise illumination of

shall have the option of beginning installation. Aforesaid installation shall
occur in a manner consistent with the reverse of the procedures described in
step one of this self-same document, being careful to note that the rotation
should occur in a clockwise direction, this point also being non-negotiable.
The above described steps may be performed, at the option of the party of the
first part, by any or all agents authorized by him, the objective being to
produce the most possible revenue for the Partnership.
