Maybe also a rpm with .spec file for codecs with 'NoSrc:', so to
not include binaries, but to let users to build the RPM of the codecs themselves.

Anyway IMHO it's just a matter of time. Now that it has been demostrated
that wavelet compression (such as those in MP4, but wavelet allows more, MUCH more)
could compress a DVD in a CD, there will be plenty of 'also free source'
(http://www.proyectmayo.com, http://www.3ivx.com/) [I don't think MPEG group could 
patent 'wavelets'] codecs. The
problem will be, which standard will impose.
Will be this the end of the DVD?
