Hello,
Some possible issues for the installer:
It seems that, at least on my laptop, that there's a problem
sensing the sound card. The default seems to be a soundblaster 16,
which for a lot of folks is an OK assumption, but then in order to
get the sound to work sndconfig has to be run from the console - which
is going to create a support problem.
Does it make sense, for the sound cards to do what we're now
doing for mice? That would allow the sound to work right out of the
box for a lot more folks. Also, should sndconfig be on one of the
configuration menus in KDE or linuxconfig or something?
Regards,
Vincent Meyer
