You need the new rpm. Try 3.0.5 from 7.2. Which also means, that you need
the new bzip2 package from 7.2.

If  you want bleeding edge stuff, you can also download 4.0 from cooker, but
please remember to do a rpm --rebuilddb immediately after updating to rpm 4.0.
