I am also having the same problem. I have installed the OPERA web browser
RPM, Caitoo RPM, AOL Messenger RPM, and Knapster RPM. All installed without
error. Yet when I attempt to locate the icons on the desktop all are
missing with the exception of Knapster which reacts perfectly.
When attempting to install them again I get a cannot install error because
they are already installed. Additionally when I searched for the installed
programs I was able to locate them in the RPM directory and if run from
there they function fine. My question is where the Hell did the icons go.
