Don't.  It's not supported in Linux.  Besides - if you wan't RAID why not
use Linux's Software RAID?

Ah, there's the question :]  No, it won't support it.  If you have a look at
Promises ftp server (ftp.promise.com), you can somewhere find a module for
their Raid controller --- but this module will only be loadable by some
special linux kernel.  IIRC it's the RedHat 6.1 kernel.

For now my suggestion wrt Promise is: Stay away as far as possible and write
a *NICE* letter to them urging for an open source driver.  Or maybe
something closed source like NVidia is doing.
